This position will be full time and will be responsible for raising 100% of their support. Previous experience in a similar program is an asset.
Shelburne Youth for Christ (the Door Youth Centre) is seeking a Director who has a love for kids and a passion for those who are falling through the cracks, to run a full time ministry in a youth drop-in centre in Shelburne, ON. This busy centre is very well established, holds drop-in Friday nights and need-based programs and school visits during the week; is supported well by the local adult constituency; and has a team of volunteers to support and back the successful candidate. The successful candidate must have relevant experience with youth, strong administrative and supervisory skills and be willing to raise 100% of your support.

The Head Monitor prayerfully assists the Day Camp Director by leading
a team of monitors in order to ensure a safe, fun and impactful camp experience for
each participant. This includes team leadership development, establishing objectives,
curriculum, registration, procedures and reporting for the camp. The Head Monitor
promotes the ministry in the community. The Head Monitor is responsible for ensuring
that a camp schedule is developed and followed by a committed team of monitors.
