The Administrative Assistant will work with the Executive Director to support the overall work of the organization and ensure professional and efficient coordination of the administrative needs of the office. The individual will also provide support to the accounting department on a weekly basis.
The Head Monitor prayerfully assists the Day Camp Director by leading
a team of monitors in order to ensure a safe, fun and impactful camp experience for
each participant. This includes team leadership development, establishing objectives,
curriculum, registration, procedures and reporting for the camp. The Head Monitor
promotes the ministry in the community. The Head Monitor is responsible for ensuring
that a camp schedule is developed and followed by a committed team of monitors.
As a Program Coordinator, you will be given the freedom to pursue your calling within the larger MYU ministry; work alongside the ministry leader and a dedicated team of volunteers to create and implement amazing programs and engaging drop-in activities for high school aged youth; help in hosting special events; connect with rural churches; give young people in the community opportunities to make positive choices in their lives, and introduce them to the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate will need to be organized and enthusiastic about changing the lives of youth in the community, and willing to take initiative to get things done. You will learn how to plan and carry out large and small events, how to coordinate with a team, and how to connect with people from every walk and sector of your community. Bilingualism is essential.
Given the nature of the work, the successful Coordinator will need to have access to their own transportation as light travel will be required from time to time.
The camp director prayerfully leads a team of staff and volunteers to oversee the
development and operation of the day camp. This includes team leadership development,
establishing objectives, curriculum, registration, procedures and reporting for the camp. The
Day Camp director promotes the ministry in the community. Ultimately, the Day Camp Director
is responsible for overseeing the success of the camp through intentional leadership
development of the staff with the goal of impacting the local community.
